Pterodroma
17-Jun-09, 16:48
The beautiful little Map-winged Swift is closely related to the more familiar Ghost Moth and like it, the adult moth is unable to feed. It is a moth of rough pasture and moorland and is often found in association with bracken on which the larva feed. On the wing now it should be around until early August.
