International Modern Machine and Hand Embroidery Textile Artist “Maggie Grey”. Presentation and Talk.




Maggie Grey is world famous for her work, and has written several books to guide the uninitiated through the terrors of modern machine and hand embroidery using the many new products and tools to achieve amazing effects.



She is very computer literate and helped form a Computer Design for Textiles Group, and the’ workshop on the web’ This is a quarterly online magazine with workshops provided by top tutors, books and product reviews, stockists and Maggie’s blog to help all through to producing work which is exciting and innovative. Groups have been set up throughout the world to share the fun.



Maggie has toured in USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and will now add Ross-shire to her C.V. This is a rare chance to see and hear from an outstanding expert in her field.

The Ross Stitch group meet at Nigg Hall on the 1st Wednesday of the month and have regular Hands on workshops on Saturday afternoons.
