One of the world's most famous universities has been ticked off by language watchdogs for making an "appalling" English error on a sign.
A Cambridge University notice pinned to railings in the centre of Cambridge read: "WARNING -- DO NOT PARK YOU'RE YOUR CYCLE HERE..."
The Plain English Campaign, which promotes better use of language, said academics should be ashamed.
