Anyone got a Dyson DC07

I was wondering if you are meant to be able to get into the filter on the bottom and can you get in about the yellow bit at the top where the tubes are?

Mine is 2 years old and I am sure it could do with a good clean out. So if anyone knows, please let me know.

You only need to clean the sponge filter, push the catch to lift the lid back and rinse out the blue sponge and its' holder and leave to dry before putting back in, this should be done at least every 6 months, you'll be amazed at how much it'll improve by doing this! I think that's right.
