No problem, I'll just pull up a list of candidates."
Twenty minutes later after googling,asking,consulting The Houses of Parliament site and tearing my hair out,I failed miserably.
I now know who is standing in Torbay,Kent,Scotland,Wales but in my own area all I can access is a list by party of all the candidates for the region and no idea who is standing in this particular seat,alot of help as the only literature we have recieved is from UKIP!
Oh well, it may have to be take a pin ,cover me eyes and see who gets the vote.

This from the BBC website says - "Elections for the European parliament will be held on 4 June 2009. Voters in the UK will elect a total of 72 MEPs, a reduction from the current 78 due to the enlargement of the European Union.
The UK is divided into 12 electoral regions, each represented by a different number of MEPs."

Scotland is one electoral region (this year gets to put forward 6 MEPs) and therefore, I guess, that you just pick one of the following. whether you want to vote by person or party is up to you.
