i am really enjoying car booting and picking up bits for kids. but if they say a price and i thinks its too dear , i just say no thanks and walk away.
is it common practice to barter at boot sales. would sellers be offended or annoyed if you did barter.
thanks for your opinions.

I would barter but not be offended if they refused.

As a seller I am quite happy for people to barter and will quite often lower my prices if it is later in the day.

I haven't been to a car boot for years, are there any good ones on the go just now ?

You could barter for a few players down at Caley just now.

I like car boots, but feel embarrased to have a good poke around . If I saw somthing that I wanted or needed I would make a price in my head of what I think it is worth before asking.
