Caithness Moths - Clouded-bordered Brindle

[Pterodroma]

With its combination of various browns the Clouded-bordered Brindle is an attractive moth that bears closer attention. The larva feeds on grasses and the moth is common in gardens and grasslands. This one was in my garden this week, but I have also caught one at the margin of open woodland.
