1. Gladiator opening scenes
2. Star Wars Episode 1 fight between Quaigon jinn, Obi 1 and Darth Maul
3. Saving Private Ryan opening scenes
4. King Kong remake in the rift against the insects.
5. Arthur fight scene against the Saxons, thin ice and all that.

1. The last twenty minutes of "When We Were Kings" .. The story of the "Rumble in the Jungle" .. Ali at his VERY best.
2. Jason Bourne versus Desh .. "The Bourne Ultimatum"
3. Jason Bourne versus the German Guy .. "The Bourne Supremacy"
4. Optimus versus Megatron .. "Transformers"
5. Two girls wrestling in Hot Oil in thongs and white t-shirts .. it was the film about the group of thirtysomethings who go back to college, cant remember the name of it. Everytime I try to remember I just see the two of them writhing about. Its my "Happy Place"

1. Warrior king -when he storms the building to get his baby elephant back, its like a 20min long fightscene involving what must be hunners o fowlk!
2. Taken - ol liam scrappin with the albanians in paris
3. Never Back Down - The final fight scene, better on the dvd with the multiview angle, quite realistic to MMA too.
4. Bourne ***** - Anything!
5. Family guy - The Chicken vs Peter Griffin fights!

There may be no fancy special effects,it may even,in fact it is a bit dated(1952) but for me the best ever fight scene was between John Wayne and Victor McLaglen in John Fords classic The Quiet Man.
Just a simple good old fashioned fist fight from a film i'll never tire of watching.Sure there are films like the Bourne trilogy which have tremendous fight scenes but are to say the least a bit over the top.300 had unbelievable CG scenes as did Gladiator but considering when the The Quiet Man was made, the fact it was just 2 guys slugging it out for about ten minutes and it didn't get boring makes it a winner for me.
I am a bit of an old films addict though.
