I am trying to download something that takes over 2 hrs and i have tried 3 times, but after 2hrs connected i get disconnected, is there anything i can do to get it downloaded quicker, as it gets stopped after about 80% completed and its driving me mad :mad:

Use a download manager like DAP:

http://www.speedbit.com

Allows you to stop downloading and resume later, also will allow you to resume from a disconnection or other interruption.

You should use a download manager. I use reget: http://www.reget.com/
Its really good :)

If you are using Firefox browser you can stop downloads and restart them at a later date.

If you have broadband I could be wrong but I don't think dap will increase your dl speed to any great significanceIf it's dial-up you are using then it's quite common for it to disconnect so I would use something like online monitor (in conjunction with dap) as online monitor works to keep your PC Connected permanently to the internet.
