Rainbows

I just thought I'd mention, I don't think I've ever seen so many rainbows as I have in this first month or so in Thurso. I saw just two or three in the decade I was living in Africa.

I'd completely forgotten how lovely they are :)

although where the pink came from I've no idea

alex, you will have many opportunities to enjoy the rainbow phenomenon in Caithness.

I was caught in a huge down pour one day along the Strath Halladale Road. (It is about 15 miles west of Thurso.) I pulled over to wait out the storm and then there appeared three of the most spectacular rainbows I had ever seen. They were on top of one another. Fortunately I had my camera. If I ever find the photos I'll send them along.

Very musical in fact.Rainbow the best scene of the worlds magical wonder.Best TV too,mind ye Rainbow wisnae a patch on Button Moon.Thats where my Sci-Fi adventure started.
