Hi,
I am new to the forum, but I have been doing genealogy for many year and have been the president/vice-presidnt of a genealogy club my county (Passaic County, Paterson, NJ., USA) for 10 years. I am searching for my ggrandfather's family in Caithness (mainly Latheron) - some of the names are Nicol/l, Chalmers, Robertson, Sinclair, Sutherland, Gunn and more. If anyone has any information or some of these names I would like to hear from you.:)

There are numerous Gunns and Sutherlands from Latheron, Caithness. Can you be more specific - names, dates, places? I have both Gunns and Sutherlands in my family tree who hail from the parish of Latheron

Isobel Gunn 1730 - George Nicol/Nichol 1725 Marr: 6/10/1756
births and marriage all Latheron, Caithness, Scotland

Donald Nicol 6/3/1760 (Latheron, Caithness)- Elizabeth Sutherland (Caithness) 1765
