Not even sure if this is the right part of the forum for this post but I was wondering if anyone can recommend a way of learning basic Thai language. I have been invited to a wedding in September and would like to try and learn even some basic phrases as I always feel you should make the effort when going to another country.

I have been to Thailand before so realise it is a difficult language but was hoping somebody reading this has tried before and can point me in the right direction.

Even better if there is a Thai speaker in Caithness who was willing to help me that would be great.

Thanks
