I continue searching for my ancesters both in the U.S and Scotland, Ireland and Scandinavia( Sweden) I am related to Gunn & Erickson(father), Cowan and Sangster(mother on her fathers side, also Peer),her Mom was a Staysa. My fathers grand mother on his mother's side was a Dahlberg.

At this particular time, I cannot go further due to lack of free time. I will get back again next week.

Would appreciate any info someone could give me on my Gunn line before Jasper Gunn came to America circa 1635. I am also of course interested in the Sangster(Robert Hawke Cowan) born in Edinburgh circa 1835.

Any chance you could pony up some additional information on your Gunn line, such as what part of Caithness they were in?
