JRTs are pregnant for 9 weeks, have just had pups ourselves, was this a planned breed or has she had an accident?

The Whelping and Rearing of Puppies and The Book of The Bitch are two excellent books, link to amazon here :

63 days is the gestation period for all dogs, how far along is she, if it was an accident do you know the exact date she was mated? I would suggest reading up well in advance so you know exactly what to expect and are totally prepared if she does indeed turn out to be pregnant.

The people on the forum here are very helpful. I'm sure your vet will keep you right as well.

Good luck
