Well it looks like it could be haunted, thanks to MPH's fantastic special effects! :cool:

I can imagine it as the opening scene for a creepy film, and the narrator (in a Vincent Price voice) announcing that this is the home of the much feared vampire of the far north..... the dreaded Count Dunbarcula!!! :eek:

my 1st impression was spooky so I can see why MPH entitled it haunted - think its the green hue thats coming off the building

(didn't haunted houses always look greenish in Scooby Doo??) :Razz:Razz

hey if i'd seen that pic before i went to the hospital there is noway i would be going, looks like a haunted castle. brilliant pic though.

It probably has bats. Just not out playing when the photo was taken perhaps. I used to love watching the bats at night when we stayed on that side of town.

What a cracking photography and definately spooky.It looks like it use to be someones private castle or was it built as a hospital?

Foundation stone laid in 1882 following a donation from a benefactor from the Scrabster area whose name eludes me just now. In the front hall are boards with annual charitable donations which funded the hospital for many years.

Its a bit like the Grousome twosomes Creepy Coupe on wacky races.Going back a bit i know. Even after 30 odd years i think i could still name them all.(shakes head in embarressment)
