Having grown up with Johnson and Reids bakerys I cannot stand Greggs. Once you have had a pie from Johnsons etc.. you will never want anything else!

I want a pie now.

Why is there no Fresh Cream Cake shops up here? Other than Tesco!
In England I used to love Boston Town, not least because it has a Cake shop that is wall to wall Fresh Cream - yummy!

I'm having to make do with Lidls Pineapple cakes. :) Although too many people seem to like them as the last couple of times I've been in there they've been all gone [evil]
Who is it?? WHO ATE ALL THE CAKES???????????

oh i love greggs lol, when i go down to bathgate i always take some frozen{you can go into them and ask for them uncooked} back up in the ice pack thing that i have pop them in the freezer and when wanting them put them in the oven just the same as if i bought them fresh yum yum,

i think its just try and error up here when i comes to getting anything take away like pastries and things sometime you can get something and its lovely and the next its pants, hit or a miss these days sad to say but true. xx

Take Johnstons pies south for family when we go to visit, but the best bakery in my world is the Cliff in Wick, both for sweet and savoury items.
