Hi folks, went down to play with racing cars at Silverstone on Sunday just past!! (wow, but that's another story!). Anyway, as usual took some of the camera kit for a play in Englandshire. Here are a selection from the town of Buckingham.

Fab Deemac - you certainly got some interesting architecture to play with. I have to say that no 1 fair stretches my eyeballs! :eek:

Which software application are you using to do your HDR compositions? They are turning out really well. Feel free to share what camera, exposure bracket settings, number of images you are stacking, etc if you don't mind!

I agree! Makes me think of the nursery rhyme that ends with "And they all lived together in a crooked little house", and I didn't know there was a Leaning Church Tower of Buckingham, lol! ;)

They're all superb photos, Deemac. Buckingham looks very picturesque, and it was nice to see some of Abingdon, where I lived for a year. The first one brings back memories of leisurely Thames boat trips I enjoyed from there to Oxford. :)

Bruce, HDR comps all produced in Photmatix Pro 3. Hand held AEB (-2, 0 +2) - though some images only use the -2 and 0 exposures. The camera is currently a Canon 40D with a sigma 10-20mm lens (hence some of the perspective issues - though I happen to like this look).

All final tweaks are produced in Photoshop CS3 (wire, sat dish, aerial, alarms, pipes, birds, people removal etc - just wish there wasn't so many cars in the world - England is turning into a giant car park!! - many superb views were destroyed by far too many cars to spoil the view). I also generally add a few blending layers in the sky and foreground with a little D&B work etc. (Basically whatever the image needs to make it "pop" more).

I would now also generally run everything through a noise reduction program like Noiseware Professional (but none of these low res images have had this processing done yet).

It always amazes me how vivid your skies and colours always are in your work. Like quite a few others on here you have a distinctive style. I personally like the cathedrial one the best although they are all great.
