Life on Mars

There was a thread about this but I can't find it. That or I've scrolled past it in error.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnyway. Last night was the last in the series and I found the conclusion really, really poor. It didn't seem to tie up any loose ends despite the big BBC build-up.

I suspect the way is being left open for series 2.

Can someone please explain the last episode?

After hearing about a second series I think that must be why its been left at a loose end. No more about Sams kidnapped girlfriend in 2006. Just means il watch a second series!

really liked life on mars thought last nites was good. but as one programme finishes another starts, no angels. on the nite on channel 4.

Last night's was one of the best. Clever, poignant and good enough to make me look forward to a second series.
The acting is/was brilliant.
