need help saving document

I have saved a document as a word perfect file. I need to save it as a plain text document or a .doc or a .txt.

Can anyone tell me how to do this ? :)

Open the file and instead of just clicking save, go to "File -> Save As" and you should be able to change the file type that you are saving it as.
