Going away on hols in a few weeks time and am just bamboozled as to where to start looking for travel insurance!!

Any suggestions or personal recommendations as it seems that it's going to take a while to search through them all?? Just need it for a couple travelling worldwide.

Thanks in advance.

If you have a mortgage worth checking with your provider, as some have travel insurance as part of their policy. They will not tell you,you have to ask,as I found out that i missed out on many years of free insurance, some types of credit cards have limited cover provided also, worth checking out

I was in this position a few years ago and after loads of searching went with Insure & Go. Cant remember the exact price but it was dirt cheap. That was for one of the higher levels of cover as well not the basic one.

Hope this maybe helps :D

Post Office - can't beat it. Get ours from there every year. Don't forget to get your international medical stuff. Have a great holiday!

last time I used

top dog travel insurance - on the web - you can read all the clauses etc before you go and decide on the amount of health cover, delays, luggage etc you wish to have.

If Iwere you stay away from go travel insurance, they are cheap but a nightmare to claim from. We used them last year and got two cameras stolen from us and it was a huge hassel trying to claim.

Tesco seem to have a good travel insurance. i'm going to get the one week for single person one and you can buy it in store. They also have for family or a whole year insurance.
