If you're talking about the store in Wick, then it used to be The Central Cafe, run by Cabrelli's.

It was the original prestos store and before that it was the YMCA building.

And, are there DEAR £1 shops?

If there are, then does a letter start:-

Dear, Dear £1 shop,

Does your shop differ much from the 99p shops I have seen around?

I am on a budget and wish to know whether the extra 1p spent is going to bring meaningful increase in terms of quality.

More importantly, I wish to know whether there is a difference between these CHEAP £1 shops, and the DEAR £1 shops that seem to be muscling in on the gap between the 99p shops and the £1 stores?
