View Full Version : Goldcrest
We often get these lovely wee birds stopping off briefly for a bit of a feed in February on their way up north. This year a male (and hopefully his partner) have stayed in the garden. Hopefully they will set up home.
You're lucky, Ricco. They're beautiful little birds. We had a few goldcrests last year but none at all so far this year. In fact, the number of birds in general has gone down in my garden.
'He' was back again this afternoon. I had moved the feeder because the magpies (what a bunch of big bullys they are!) were endangering the climbing clematis growing up the frame the feeder was hanging on. The poor wee bird was looking all over for it - I had only moved it a few feet away.
