dont buy solar panel electric fencer use your normal fencer and a solar panel from maplin (£9.99)put it on the battery and it will keep it running all the time even in the winter (tried and tested)

Thats great! I have a friend in Aberdeenshire and she bought a solar electric fencer a couple of years back and it was so useless (and this was in summer) she ended up taking it back to the shop. So this definately seems like a better option, thanks:D:D:D

yes it is in caithness even in the snow (you have to keep it clear of snow ) it works on light not just sun light
they had them in the cheap shop in thurso by the tools i think for £14.99 i will find the box for more info
