We're hoping to get our girls a couple of gerbils and they'll be needing a new home to live in. Does anyone have a gerbilarium that they're not using?

Just want to say a big thank you to Blondie for giving us a lovely gerbilarium for our new gerbils! ;)
We brought them home today from Pets at Home in Wick and they're settling in really well to their new home. They love the space for running around in and tunneling. They have so much energy it's incredible - they crash out for 10 minutes then they're back up again and going like mad things!!
Here's a couple of photos - the brown siamese one is Squeaky and the white albino is Snowdrop (both girls). By the way my daughters chose the names!

Aw they are lovely! Same gerbilarium as me. Do yours go mad digging too?

Yeah they were really going crazy yesterday but they're fast asleep now, must have completely worn themselves out! Here's a better photo of the gerbilarium, it's the one with the plastic tank at the bottom. It's great that they have two levels for running about in and it's good fun to watch them tunnelling then coming up for a bite to eat. They've been on the wheel but not got the hang of it yet. I'm sure they'll learn soon enough!!

You have the same log things as me too! My 2 chew through hundreds of toilet/kitchen roll tubes! They absolutely love them.

They kept chewing the wheel i had for them so i put them in the ball now. Gizmo loves it but Jox would rather sit and sleep....2 completely different personalities! I have a white one too (thats Gizmo).

Good wee pets they are. And my cat still loves em! :Razz
