Is anything panned to mark this event in Thurso?

Hi Scotsboy long time no see. I havnt heard about anything but that doesnt mean there's not. There was some kind of cermony at Pennyland a few years back but that must have been his birth.
I thought the BB was founded in 1883.

As an ex-BB I was involved in the 90th celebrations in Thurso - which was a huge event. Times change.

You are correct Gleeber, Wikipedia states that the BBs were formed on 4 October, 1883.
