Remove moss and lichen from a roof

I'm wondering if anybody has any recommendations on how to remove moss and lichen from a tiled roof? Has anybody had this done recently and can recommend somebody?

The best way i know of is to get someone to use a pressure washer to blast it off . Would recommend getting a professional in as i have heard stories of people blasting the water up the roof and under the tiles, should always be done down the roof.

After you have blasted it off with water you will have to apply moss and lichen killer to the roof to stop it growing back again.This has to be done once a year.

We had Wick Blast http://www.caithness-business.co.uk/business.php?id=215 in to do ours, they made a great job. That was 4 years ago and it's not grown back since.
