A lassie has been dating a guy in Wick for about 3 weeks.They decide to go out for a romantic meal.
As they walk along,the lassie says to her guy,"Here,my granny lives in this street dae ye mind if we pop in to her hoose so I can introduce ye to her".
The guy agrees even though his stomach is moanin for food.
They both go in and have a blether with granny.The guy notices a bowl of peanuts on the coffee table and grabs a handful at a time and eats them all.
The lassie tells him that its time for them to go for their meal.
The guy says to Granny,"Thanks very much for your hospitality and thanks very much for the peanuts".
Granny says,"Your very welcome.Thanks for finishing off the peanuts for me,as ever since I lost my dentures I've only been able to sook the chocolate off them!!!!!!"
