Anyone see this when it was on the go? It was online originally about six years ago-an established recording engineer (Mixerman) in LA documented the wacky goings-on during the recording of a major label debut by some band that defined dysfunction.
As it was all done using psuedonyms, noone knows who he really is, who the band is/was or if it was all made up. It was originally posted at prosoundweb.com but they seem to have totally disowned it now Mixerman has his own site www.mixerman.net and published a book compiled from the daily postings. I was at sound school when it was all online and spent an entire day printing off the whole eight weeks worth of posts. It's all offline now bar the samples at mixerman.net but i heartily, heartily recommend reading them and getting the book.
