Just wondering if anyone happens to know whether the Wick or Thurso pet shops sells Tarantula's or if there are any private breeders out there who are willing to sell ?

I think people are having a jest at your grammar, Kirok… Tarantula’s meaning ‘belonging to Tarantula’. I think you need to drop the apostrophe.

It's called the "Greengrocer's Apostrophe". As in "Banana's 50p a kg". The people at the OED have apparently lost all reason and recently said it's become so common it will become regarded as correct usage. Sad, just bloody sad.

I know what a tarantula is. I have one, or at least I look after it for my daughter who is away at college. Not my favourite pet really.
