The tittlebug is a humerous thing
It thinks its oh so funny
It isnae like a bumblebee
That spends its life on honey
The tittlebug is only known by few
Not insects such as ants
The titterbug is when ye laugh so loud
Ye nearly pee yer pants

I wish I were a gloworm
A gloworm's never glum
How could you be unhappy
When the sun shines out your bum
Fleas, fleas roond my knees
Horrid little evils
Could be worse
In my wooden leg
I could have the weavils!

what is a tittlebug?
never heard of it before
a beastie, bug, a fly, a moth
the mind boggles even more
If I read cedrics post first
my mind would be at rest
but in my rush to make a rhyme
i never would have guessed.
Poems 'bout bugs rattle my lugs
Harmless beasties or nasty thugs
Whether flyin in the air
Or creepin up my stair
To be the subject of this verse
They may find it quite perverse! :confused

Here we are all waxing poetic
myself trying to rhyme sounds quite pathetic
got itches on my shin hairs, got bitten by a cleg
Not ill have to go an wax me legs
I think I saw a tittlebug glowing in the dark
Jolly, bright and dancing as I strolled around the park.
Yes, I know I saw a tittlebug - I really hev nae doots
For there it was aprancing, roond ma tackedy boots.
Good old Ced knows how to bring a smile !
