James Bruce, married Jane Wares in 1813. Both are in Wick in 1861 census and her death cert in 1864 lists her as "married to James Bruce." I find no death for him between 1864 and 1871 but he is not to be found in 1871 census for Wick. His sons are all accounted for in Wick.
