OK, I'm sad. I love Chilli's, whether it be the real thing, sauce or powder.

I'm addicted to them.

What is your opinion on what's good to put in a Chilli Con Carne or a Curry or similar. We've grown our own with success, tried a load of different types and styles of condoments and varieties. But I'm still looking for the uber-chilli hit.

Please let me know your suggestions for the next best hot ting....

p.s. has anyone else every played chilli roullette?

:evil

I have considerd that I am a dab hand at making a chilli and use a variety of chilli powder mix, but as posted in a previous thread (You Plonker (http://forum.caithness.org/showthread.php?t=62531) ) don't be messing with those blessed real chilli's without rubber gloves on,

600,000 sizzlin' Scoville Units?
Bah, baby food....

Think you have yet to meet "The Man" - Dixies Barbeque of Bellevue, WA

What exactly is "The Man"?
"The Man" is our world famous hot sauce - hot and spicy, but smooth and tasty... that's "The Man!" Created in the family kitchen, our hot and spicy barbecue sauce has become a regional favorite of barbecue fans. It comes with every event and is something you have to taste to truly understand the full barbecue experience. The Man is not for the timid! If you are pregnant/nursing or being treated for a heart condition, please consult with your physician prior to consumption.

It only takes a small amount (we're talking the end of a pin dipped in the sauce) to ruin your week.
The hottest known chili rated on the Scoville scale (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scoville_scale) is pure Capsaicin at 15,000,000–16,000,000 units. The Man is somewhere up there! ;)

Having had Mad Dog 357 many many times i can assure you it's far from 'baby food' :p, when i first bought it a few years ago my mate (who is a chilli head) nearly met an unfortunate end with MD357, it was a Sunday afternoon and we were all pissed as farts in my house, i brought out the MD357 and my mate, being stupid, pissed, and a chilli head, grabbed the bottle and gulped down about a table spoons worth, after about 5 mins he lay on my bathroom floor in a hell of a state, we were very close to actually calling an ambulance for him, after about an hour he 'came round', we laughed at him...a lot, and then carried on getting pissed.
