German school gunman 'kills 15'

Another Shooting in a School. This time in Germany. A 17 Year Old walked into a School in South-West Germany and started shooting and Killing Children and Teachers.

He escaped and drove away and continued to shoot and Kill people on the Road. Eventually he was trapped and Shot Dead. by Police.

It seems that this kind of Incident is becoming more and more common.

What do you all think, is it time to have stricter Security within Caithness Schools before such an Incident can happen here?

Or do you think that something like this could never happen here in Caithness?

can this ever happen in caithness.

well with the mentality of some people who think shooting children with bb guns is ok then the possibility of this happing is not so far away.It does not take long before people who use children as target practice with bb guns for their own pleasure, get hold of real guns, maybe kept by a parent and then kill innocent children.We know what its like as we have had the last 6 months going through a court case where our neighbours son (21) shot some of our kids has been found guilty and just awaiting sentence.As our daughter was shot point blank in the face with a bb gun and it could have blinded her or lodged in her skull then the thought of real guns being used is frighteniong.

There are many loonies out there who have a whim to harm others. Unfortunately it does not matter how people are raised, wether they have mental health problems or are just made that way but its a threat that people need to take serious.

One thing about the shootings, we have been lucky, except the Dunblane, hungerford shootings. The man in question was shot dead by the police and the irony of it is that in germany that if the polizie have reason to shoot then you have to pay for each bullet fired, regardless wether it hits you or not, and yes his family will have to foot the bill.
