This was such a cool thing to witness today. I see seagulls all the time, and seals quite often (they follow the trawlers in, in the hope they will end up with some fish!), but I've never seen them fighting! There were 3 seals, and several seagulls. The seals had huge fish, and they were bringing them up to the surface to eat them. The seagulls divebombed them on several occasions, trying to pinch their fish!
As I am more of a seal lover, I am happy to say, the seals were winning when we left :) The seal that was closest, the pics came out darker, the sea looks bluer. The one that was slightly further out, the sea looks brown. There third one was too far out and the seagulls weren't interested in it. The lighting was strange.
