Cycling back from town today there was already skylarks and peewits making their usual calls just by Dounreay. Signs that the warmer seasons are just around the corner. :)

It's noticably lighter too :D

Miss the skylarks there used to be so many of them now it's quite rare to hear one in this neck of the woods which is a shame, walking the hills has lost it's music.

Skylarks have been singing over here as well. Tonight the first Curlew were bubbling over the house,what a fantastic sound. You are right enough sage it is getting brighter and lighter. Roll on the better weather and the birds return.
