A tribute to my best friend

My poor darling Kira went on to the rainbow bridge today. She is going to leave a gaping hole in my heart, but it was her time to go and she will suffer no more.

She was the most gorgeous, affectionate, slobbery boxer, over the years she had so many problems with allergies and skin conditions but she never lost her spirit or got down.
The last few months were hard on her and she just lost her spirit.
I knew the time was right but it does not make it any easier.

I lost my old dog last year after nearly 13 years together.
