I am on a Scottish Enterprise project at a mediation company in glasgow. They specialise in helping families through the process of divorce. Does anyone have any views on whether family mediation is a good idea or whether it is just a waist of time.

Does anyone in Caithness have experience of family mediation and if there was a service available would anyone use it?

Any comments would be greatly appreciated!

Also how can I attach a poll to this thread?

Hi .mediation only works if both parties want it.There was no mention of us using them when we separated but 18months down the line my x started making noises about using them. The only reason for this is that i had a boyfriend. The story gets messy but what i do no is my x used them to get at me.[smirk] on Skye you still have to go to Inverness which is no use.
Hope thats some help
