Free Puppies? What's going on?

I came across this site (http://www.adoos.co.uk/search?busqueda=1&subarea_id=&section_id=2&subcategory_id=&query=puppies&province_id=58&category_id=241&min_price=min&max_price=max) with many ads for Free Puppies. What is going on here? Is this a scam? Nobody breeds pedigree puppies and gives them away for free.

Looks very dodgy to me, a lot of the ads come up as expired when you click on them, some sort of scam I would think.

I have just contacted the seller for this ad (http://www.adoos.co.uk/post/3705776/free_to_good_homes_yorkies). I know this is a scam, but it will be interesting to see what they have to say for themselves.

I can then pass the details onto those who are dealing with this kind of thing, mentioned here (http://www.highland.gov.uk/yourcouncil/news/newsreleases/2009/February/2009-02-10-03.htm).

Was there not something similar in Inverness where the puppies were free but the purchaser paid expenses for the pup to be delivered, on credit or debit card, then extra amounts had been taken illegally? Could be getting muddled with something else,

No such thing as a free lunch (or puppy) then.

I don't know how much these puppies (http://www.adoos.co.uk/post/3711324/quality_kc_english_bulldog_puppies) are going for, and possibly not a scam, but just look at the wee face. It's absolutely adorable.
