After spending a good chunk of today looking at a spreadsheet Dunnet Beach beckoned this afternoon.

Your second B&W is a cracker NL, superb stuff.
I did look at the clouds myself while leaving work today and thought there would be a few togs about as it looked very photogenic to me. Just love god rays in a view.

Was at Reiss beach last time I was up (for the first time ever) - some superb opportunities I thought but drat did not take camera as was a mingin day when I left Thurso! Whose a silly billy? :roll:

Class pictures northlight love the god rays too never heard them called that , my daughter said to me one day while on a walk that someone was going up to heaven when she seen them.Really missed seeing all the lovely pictures on this forum,Im glad i got a new computer and back online.

North Light - your pics reminded me of the rays that I caught when travelling to Inverness recently. Stopped the car at the Ord of Caithness and snapped a few looking over the Moray Firth. They don't work as well as yours.
