Does anyone know anything about the woodturning club in Caithness ?
I think there was an article in the paper a few weeks ago but I can't
find it now.

Good question.
Wood turning is somthing that I have always fancied having a go at and I have a Shopsmith multi tool that has the facility for wood turning, but I am frightned of it.:eek::confused

The North Highland Woodturners Association meets every first Saturday of the month in the Castletown Heritage Centre from 09-00 until 12-00 and have one evening per month alternating between the second Wednesday and Thursday dates are available from the secretary (me) and prospective members are welcome to come along to any meeting, tuition will be given if required anyone wishing further information please PM me with your requirements

Little querie here...I bought handrail for stairs in december from screwfix and now the company who supplies them this has gone to the wall so can't get anymore of it to finish my loft conversion stairways was wondering if any talented folk out there could make some up for me? also need newels to match. thanks in anticipation
