just to say i am probably going into hospital next week...need iv antibiotics for my chest infections.

i am going to miss my dogs terribly and i am trying to organise HIGHLAND PET CARE to look after them in our home.

has anyone used the service.lynn sounds great and i feel very confident the dogs will be ok.
my old girl ,penny is very sensitive ,but she will survive.the other 3 will do ok..as long as they get food, treats, water and CUDDLES!!!!!
i am worried....not sure if it will be wick or raigmore yet.

does anyone know if u can use a laptop in hospital????that would cheer me up considerably..

if not i will be back when i come home.it has been over 2 years since i left the dogs [had 9 then] with a pet sitting company[ not in this region] to go visit 2 of my puppies out in hong kong[with a scotsman].

it was not a good experience..but i know it will be ok this time.

quick update on PEPE.

he amazingly is doing better...hs mum was elated last night when i called.he had his power shower ,the pemphigus scabs are going, being replaced by pink ,healthy skin.he is now more demanding..his more usual self.

he goes back to the specialist vet on monday.
the chap actually hails from thurso and is wonderful.if PEPE had not gone there..we all know that he would not be with us today.

i also know that ur thoughts and prayers DID help.THANK YOU.

well off now to organise things for next week.;)

aww binbob sorry to hear you have to go into hosp. sure your dogs will be fine with highland pet care, they are in their own enviroment and I'm sure they will get all the love and attention that you give them yourself, just don't be disappointed if they get more and don't speak to you when you get home again.

If I were going to be here myself, I would offer to help out but unfortunately I'm working Mon-Wed and then heading off south on Thursday.

hope you are on the mend soon.

You'll be hoping the treatments they use weren't tested on animals, I suppose.

Try to concentrate on getting better, binbob. I know it's such a worry, but your pets will be well cared for while you're away and you'll be on much better form when you're back home with them again. :)

Dragonfly, I wish you and Brodie a safe and successful trip south - hope all goes well for him this time. :)

So sorry you need to go into hospital Binbob but, as the others say, your darling doggies will be fine in the care of Highland Pet Care.

Just you concentrate on getting better as we will miss your company in Pets' Corner.

So glad that Pepe is improving.:D

Hope all goes well for you BinBob, to answer your laptop question no you can't use one online in there, I came up with the same great idea myself when I was going to be in for 7 weeks when I was pregnant. They do have patient line at every beside though which has full internet access but you have to pay for it.

Your so lucky to have the pet sitting service up there.Wish we had something like that over here.I'm home alone because we couldnt take the dogs down to my oh's mothers.....he's decorating the living, can just see Scorrie with the wallpaper now.
