Most of us on the Org know about Simpson's and Scottish Fuels for heating oil, but have just seen a CPL Petroleum lorry filling a tank at Strathy - anyone use these?

CPL now belongs to Scottish Fuels.
For cheap fuel for Heating try Brogans

Brogans have now been coming to Lewis for about four months, even after they have paid for the tankers to come over on the ferries and the drivers accommodation whilst over here they are still much cheaper than Scottish Fuels.

Scottish Fuels had been charging quite a few pence extra per litre, as soon as Brogans started bringing in heating oil they lowered their prices, still not down at Brogans levels so I would definitely check out Brogans prices before going anywhere else.

I personally feel I have been forced to pay Scottish Fuels excessive prices for too long due to them having a monopoly, now I will support the new business trying to get established as it is the only way to ensure it does not go back to being a monopoly by Scottish Fuels and back to increased profits for Scottish Fuels.
