01724783226 or 01955611253. She's been gobsmacking for me, but for some people she doesn't seem to come through the same. let us know how you get on.

I once made an appointment with a clairvoyant, but she phoned me on the day and cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

Anyone who is interested at all in 'psychics', 'fortune tellers' or 'clairvoyants', please read these articles and consider things. That is all.

Hahahahaha - I didn't realise that 'Mentalist' was another official term for a Fortune Teller until I read the article you linked.

I always thought it was a playground term for the sort of person who would go to a Fortune Teller.

Very interesting. Many years ago I went to a clairvoyant when I was in severe distress. I would think it was obvious to the woman that I was hanging on by my fingernails. I came out thinking how wonderful she was. Months later, in retrospect, I realised that she employed many of the techniques mentioned in the articles.
She fleeced me. I was weeping and handing over tenners like a complete you know what.
How people can make their living feeding off other people's grief, is a mystery to me. I'm not saying that there aren't those who are genuine/or believe themselves to be genuine but the majority are raking it in...............laughing all the way to the bank/mattress (credit crunch).

Thats awful Looby!

A genuine reader / clairvoyant should direct you to relevant support groups or gently suggest you see your gp if they feel you need guidance. Also if a client is obviously in distress like that the reading shouldnt have gone ahead. [disgust] Sadly there are those out there who just want the money.

Sometimes though it isnt easy to see just how distressed people are. People go for readings for all sorts of reasons; because they are curious, want a light hearted reading, need someone to talk to or a bit of counselling without the formality of a counsellor. Perhaps you may have thought it obvious but the clairvoyant didnt.

I hope everythings ok now :D

Sadly there are those out there who just want the money.

They all just want the money. The more people - apologists - like you that make excuses for them, the more likely that vulnerable people will be further hoodwinked by these utter charlatans.

Looby, it's sad that you have had to learn the hard way, but I'm happy that you are able to see the truth now. I'm sure that the telling of your story will shake people's beliefs much more than my linking to common-sense explanatory articles.

Thank you for sharing your experiences.

Dunno, you must have caught me while I was active. Nice to see you have no argument against my statements though. ;)

There is an award of $1M to anyone that can prove their psychic ability to the James Randi Educational Foundation.
Rather than collect this award they fleece the bereaved, that tells it's own story. To all those tempted to go to a "psychic", keep your money in your purse/wallet. All these charlatans know is how to manipulate money from you to them.
