If I play my imported cd albums on iTunes on the computer, I sometimes hear that the 'needle' seems to jump. Of course that is rubbish but there is some sort of interference going on.

Obviously there is no hardware probs because the music is loaded up unless there is something wrong with hard drive?

Anyone know what can be causing the needle to jump plz?

there are sev issues that can cause this
does the jumping happen in the same place each time you play the same track?

it could be a poor import or you pc was doing something more important at that time

often jumping on playback is caused by the pc doing too much
whilst playing an import if you say start to watch a utbe video too do this make it worse?

have you run say the defragmenter recently or p'haps done a chkdsk to see what state your hardrive is in
