YouthBank Scotland was officially launched today (Tuesday 17th Feb) from Edinburgh Castle. Members of Scottish Youth Banks including Scottish Advisory Forum members celebrated with a balloon launch from the castle this morning. (see attached image)
Members were welcomed by Heather McVey - Senior YouthBank Development Officer (Scotland) and Jane Frewing (YouthBank Development Officer (Scotland) and also met with the Chief Executive of YouthLink Scotland - Jim Sweeney and the Chief Executive of YouthBank UK - Mary Mills.
As part of the launch, YouthBank Scotland have designed promotional items including the YouthBank Scotland piggy bank, pens, badges, sports style bags and the exclusive YouthBank Scotland magazine which can be obtained by contacting your local YouthBank.
YouthBank Scotland is a partnership between YouthLink Scotland and YouthBank UK. The network of YouthBanks in Scotland create and support training, networking and personal development opportunities for young grant makers and those who work with them. YouthBank Scotland is funded by the Big Lottery Young People's Fund.
