Would anyone know if Staff records were kept during the 1890s in eg,local castles?
I believe this lady im researching worked in Dunrobin Castle.

Best bet is to contact Dunrobin directly, if they dont have any records they'll know if any existed and where they're likely to be :D

I asked at Dunrobin about staff records as my gg aunt Annie Stewart was housekeeper there. I was told that some records are kept at the Sutherland Estate Office in Golspie (sorry I can't remember the name of the street); other records are at the National Archive in Edinburgh. Hope this helps.
