i would get a van yourself, as moving motorcycles in a van is really for someone who knows what they are doing. there is no way i would let just anyone move my bike, i would rather pay a bit extra and hire a van and do it myself.
you really have to make sure the bike is tied down properly.

there used to be a company in inverness that specialised in moving bikes, i would give kevin at mitchells a buzz and see if he knows of anyone.

i put the ad on for a friend hire of a van is a prob he dont drive he asked mitchells but they keep messing him about they said they would deliver yesterday then they phoned him and said the roads were to bad and couldnt do it but the road was black all the way to inverness i know because i went there yesterday

i have always found mitchells to be a pain. i have asked him to price things for me before including brand new bikes, but he never comes back to you. so i always go else where.
luckily my dh is very good mechanically so he does everything on my bike, reason i married him ;)

hope you get sorted out, but seriously dont put your bike in back of a van with just any driver. you really need a van with floor tie points.
