View Full Version : psyhic abilty?

As the psyhic ability runs in my family from my dads side I often think that my dad helps me make big desisions from where he is in the afterlife. I sometimes wonder why the answer is there in my mnd after i've struggled to come up with a answer to a descision.

My sister has his gift as does my older brother and one of my younger brothers. I've only realised that i have a touch of it as i can be alone somewhere and feel as if there is someone else there. I always put it down to being paranoid but when my sister told me bout one when i was walking with her one night i knew it was more than paranoia.

Anyone else feel that they have this or have any experience when they couldn't explain something?

Can't say I've experienced that but sometimes when I've been racking my brain to remember something, someone will come up to me in my dreams and tell me what it is I've been trying to remember. A bit freaky, but I assmue thats my subconcious mind communicating with my conscious mind. I did also have a dream about somewhere once and when I go there I discovered it was exactly as I had dreamt it (and I had never been there before).

I've had a few minor moments that could be classed as psychic but equally could be down to coincidence. I do believe in the psychic ability though and think we all have it but most of us don't know how to use it.

Interestingly enough, I had a dream once about 2 lottery numbers. I bought a ticket that weekend including those 2 numbers just incase. You can guess how many of those numbers came up.....

This is something that also runs in my family from my fathers side, my brother has a "gift" although it is not as strong as mine, i have the "gift " of being able to see and hear things others cant and have a past life experiance too.
i know a lot of people think this is a load of old tosh and every one is entitled to their own views.
I wish i did have the gift of predicting lottery numbers , sure could use a gift like that lol.

Psychic ability, I believe is passed down through families, sometimes skipping a generation sometimes not.
I sincerely believe it is genetic though it is said you can develop psychic skill or learn how to use Tarot, palmistry etc.

Though at times we feel alone, those that pass before us remain in spirit to guide..................if we have the heart to hear and allow our minds to believe.

My dad was the same as yourself. He told me bout two past life experiences he had. In one he was a highlander fighting against the English and in another he was a gypsy and was killed as a boy.
My sister can see spirits and can sense their emotions she just can't hear what they say to her.
My dad's side are descended from gypsies so this is where his gift has come from.
Aye it would be ace to be able to predict the lottery:lol:

Too many moments to mention, a few times which saved my life, like once having a deja vu moment. Years ago when i was at college my friend and i was going to skip the afternoon and go to inverness with her boyfriend, we got a lift down the town and i felt very uncomfortable in the car and could not wait to get out. We went back to class and i felt i had to look out of the window, saw a car on a back of a breakdown truck, i just knew at the time it was his car,(you have to understand i had only seen this car once and one car was like any other car to me) i took my friend to the toilets and told her what i saw and told her that she had to be brave as she was going to get very bad news, we went into the class, then a teacher came to the door and asked my friend to step out of the class, she was told that her boyfriend and his passenger had been killed, my friend came running back into the class and said you were right but how did you know, i was really shaken at the time as i did not understand how i could foretell such things.
Other things like i would know the phone is going to ring, also when i would go and phone my mum there was no ringing on her end, she had been phoneing me at the same time, we often wondered who was paying for the call lol

Apparently all the planets were in the water constellations when I was born which makes me The One when it comes to psychic ability. Well, I've got the Gift but it just seems that I'm waiting for something.:(

Didn't the bit where qualification was required ring some alarm bells? Or have I got it all wrong and there's actually a college you can go to to become a 'Medium'?

Again, and I've said this many times before and never been given a satisfactory answer, but, why is it generally always women who fall for this sort of tripe?

What exactly is missing from your lives to make you believe this nonsense?

A very educational magazine as well, as a teenager it encouraged me to read, and also study anatomy ;)
I never got my copy from a top shelf though, i got it from a neighbours shed, there was this really old bloke that we used to call Jimmy Snotters and he used to hide his educational magazines in his shed, we found this out and used to...[cough]..borrow them...for educational purposes of course ;)

I never imagined you in a Penthouse jox. I always saw you more as a Knave, who might have lived in a Whitehouse , aspiring to be a Playboy residing in Park Lane. You know the neighbourhood I mean, really for Men Only, going to the Club after a short drive in their Escort. ;)

Mum use to say that she remembered "old fashioned" memories.ladies in long frocks and men in formal dress walking in Kings Park in Glasgow.

It was almost like flash backs the first time it happened.
She alwas seemed to just feel thesituation and regularly went to a spiritulist church. There were a few other family members that seemed to be able to tune in aswell.

I'm know where near as good as mum but I wish I was.:D

Just before my dad died unexpectadly I remember waiting up for him and constantly checking he was ok for a few days before he died at home.I was only 15 .
The afternoon mum died in March last year, I was walking round Inverness with a feeling of utter dread.I had been down just after christmas and just didnt want to leave her it was such a strange feeling.

I only knew the names because of a fellow pupil who ran a magazine business at School. He used to steal them from newsagents and then sell them on during tuck time. Tuck was quite appropriate, as several lads would wander back to class with a mag "tucked" under their arm.
