We have a gorgeous display of hyacinths in a pot on our kitchen window sill.

Is it possible to "dry off" the bulbs after the flowers have gone and be able to get another display from them next year, or do the bulbs only flower once ?

I usually put my pot bulbs into the garden and buy new next year. Tried feeding them and storing them once, after the foliage died down but forgot all about them and found them rotted.

I sometimes put them in the garden and get a few miserable blooms, hardly worth the bother. Buy new each year and, blow the expense.

Thanks for that Nightowl and Scunner !
I think I will just blow the gardening budget and buy some new bulbs next year !! :Razz
