A discussion thread has been made on the Highland Youth Voice forums to allow members of the Caithness community to express their views on the state of Wick High School in order to raise their opinions fully with Highland Youth Voice. Once complete, the discussion and comments will be viewed by the Schools & Education Campaign Group in order for them to offer as much support in the Wick High School Parent Council Campaign as possible. Both Parents and pupils and other relations of pupils are invited to take part in this discussion although you must complete the brief registration form first. To take part in the discussion, visit

Unfortunately not a single person has signed up to contribute to the discussion so fair enough if no one feels strongly about the state of the school but I'm sure this is not the case :Razz

No response to your post does not signify that there is no interest in this subject. Perhaps people are already in discussion through the Wick High Action Group or some other such means.

Well considering Highland Youth Voice has a Highland wide campaign group to tackle school issues with links to the ECS committee and other parliament organisations, you would think people would show more interest in putting their views across to the parliament since that is the aim of Highland Youth Voice- to improve the lives of young people in the Highlands and that is exactly what a new school will do. Also with the support of around 100 people, I'm sure the group could help.
